Hoş Seda Classical Turkish Music Choir will give its first concert of the new year on Saturday evening, February 4, 2023, at 19:00 at St James' Church in Islington.
The concert, titled "From tradition to the future", will be conducted by conductor Levent Gürbüz, who has nearly 30 compositions in various forms of classical Turkish music, and will be presented by Melek Yalçın.
Tickets for the concert, which is planned to last about three hours, are on sale on eventbrite. In the concert, which will be accompanied by the ITU Turkish Music graduate, the qanun player Nurullah Ejder from Turkey, and the oud player Ayberk Coşkun from Berlin, the Hoş Seda Classical Turkish Music choir will perform valuable works with a rich repertoire ranging from classical works to the present.
